This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just received a link to a new beta software called 360 desktop @

    any good? or just a waste of time and resources?

    Linux rip off :p. Not a Linux fanboy statement, I don't like Linux that much but they had the CUBE thing for quite some time now.

    Well i personally don't see a problem with it, but mind you, it's nothing like Compiz-Fusion in Linux, it'll use up much more resources for half the effects. If you seriously want a lot of desktop eye-candy go for Linux, if you're fine with Aero/Luna and/or using a lot of resources then you can give it a shot.
