Im planning on buying a laptop that comes with windows 7 32 bit, so I also wanted to buy the 64 bit windows 7 aswell so when I get the laptop I could install the 64 bit on it straight away but I was wondering if the 64 bit drivers from vista would work on the windows 7 64 bit?

the laptop I want to buy is a samsung R620 JS01UK and is 32 bit but would the previous R620 the older version drivers work on the newer one with windows 7 even though they were for vista?

Most vista drivers are compatible with Windows 7

These were from an older version of the R620, will they still work on the newer version? or do all R620's have the same drivers?

I have a Samsung R710 and went from Vista Home Premium 32bit to 7 Professional 64Bit and Windows automatically found all the drivers apart from the nVidia one which I just got from the nVidia website. Hope this helps :)
