Since many laptop owners now are switching to Vista, many are thinking about buying a 64-bit Windows instead of a 32-bit one.In some processes (like Compressing or Encoding) the same processor on 64-bit is as twice as powerful compared to the same processor on 32-bit.

But many of the 32-bit applications are not supported by 64-bit Windows. For example,Most of the Firewall/Virus Shield software lack 64-bit Windows compatibility.

Please post about the Applications are compatible/incompatible with the 64-bit editions of Windows.Or any useful links about them.
