    Will the Vista upgrades that you can send off for from late January be locked to manufacturer? Eg:Will a upgrade CD received by sending off a voucher from a Dell laptop be locked to Dell PC's only?

    Definitely. Especially if Dell, HP, and all those others are the guys sending out the discs. They will do the same thing they have done with XP.
