I'm looking for a rainmeter configuration that is good looking and dark that displays my computer uptime. I have looked at deviantart and other sites but can't find any. Anyone know any?

    thanks in advance

Isn't there one from within HUD Vision? There is, I think its part of the system information config within HUD Vision. Check it out.

Ya, I did see that one but it also has other information in it like name of computer, wlan address and stuff. I just want computer uptime displayed. Or I could use that one if anyone knows how to edit it to take all the other stuff out, besides computer uptime! You would be the freakin best if someone could do that. I will rep you 3947320472304 times!!! :)

Well, you can edit the .ini file, comment out the lines except the one showing the uptime. No? Isn't that possible? I don't have my laptop right now to check it out, but let me see if its possible.

I know rainmeter is customizable, so I think there is a way to edit the skin to take the other stuff out besides computer uptime. I just don't know how...lol
I'm not a rainmeter editer pro. I also saw a computer uptime thing i like in rainmeter "furbino", but again, it comes with name of computer, date, time, and stuff. All i need is the computer uptime. If anyone knows how to edit the other stuff out, please help me!

Here - Is this what you want?

If yes, I can copy/paste the rainmeter .ini file for you here or in PM.

On my laptop, I often look at computer uptime to see how long my battery last from fully charged and to see if it degrades over time. :]
I used to have a rainmeter skin that had comp. uptime but took it off. Now I just check manually. ;p
Might have to use this if I get lazy. XD

Spread around rep means to give other users rep, before you can rep the same person again. For example, I need to rep other members before I can rep Fondue again.

Does anyone know how to configure the 10-foot HUD to display the local temperature? The one that I currently have is by default I think.

    Thanks a lot.

    http://lifehacker.com/5084412/configure-your-own-rainmeter-10+foot-hud

Download the file from there, extract into your rainmeter skins directory and refresh all in rainmeter.. right click and chose the weather from 10-foot HUD. Then "edit skin" and enter the code of wherever you are. Instructions are there on top of the ini file.

Is there anyway I can edit the code so that it shows seconds as well? Also, why is my uptime different from the uptime monitor in my windows sidebar? It's off by about 13 minutes.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the ancient past, but I'm running the same script with some modifications for formatting, etc, and just realized that this seems to count the total time from the last restart/logon. If I put the computer to sleep, and then resume - the counter jumps to include the hours that the computer was actually sleeping. Does anyone know of a way to count purely the active "running" time - it would be a great measure of how long my battery actually ran for... although the only variation I can see would be from the discharge while in "Sleep".....
