    A Weird Problem

    I've just received my ASUS G1 about 1 week, reinstall Windows XP Pro for it, install all the drivers and softwares I need. Recently, I notice that everytime I turn it off, a notification pops up and it says that " MCI command handling windows doesn't respond" and I always need to click "End Now" to shut down my laptop. Anyone know what is that error and solutions for it ?

    Seems a lot of people have this problem. No real solution but some info here:

    It's Windows' Media Control Interface (MCI). One suggestion that sounded good is to make sure there's no CD in the drive when you shut down. Might be worth being sure any media (video, camera, music) is completely shut down before turning off.
