I just got an inspiron 1505, and it won't connect to the internet properly. I tried to go in an manually get rid of all the bloatware but I may have deleted something important in the process.

My question is would it be better for me to reformat my harddrive, and use dell's drivers and utilities CD to get my computer back up to speed?

I already posted on your other topic, no need to make duplicate posts. Bloatware will not hurt your eithernet card. I didn't reformat for months after getting my computer and internet worked every single day up untill now. It's something to do with your network(most likely). I doubt your eithernet and wireless card could possibly both not be workingl.

Check the other topics you made, I posted there with some help. If you need more then you can easily pm me.

Reformating will not give you much of a speed increase. There is a guide for all the bloatware on dell notebooks, I will try to find it. It will be faster than reformating for sure, if you are able to read the guide.
