    A display driver has stopped responding error

    Hey I've been having this error message when playing more recent games like Team Fortress 2 and Portal and I think its an error with my video card and the Vista OS. The screen goes black and then this error message comes up:

    Anyone know how to fix? I'm on a laptop so the drivers are differnt for me. Heres my setup:
    Dell Inspiron 1520
    2 processors running - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7500 @ 2.20GHz
    2.19 GHz Performance Rated at 5.43 GHz
    2.0 GB RAM
    Microsoft Windows Vista Home Edition (Build 6000)
    NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT (GeForce 8600M GT)
    Your driver version number is: 7.15.11.5655

    I know a lot of other people have this issue and I want it fixed because it occurs every 15 minutes or so and stops my computer for about a minute, but I have not seen a good answer or fix from google browsing. I tried reinstalling my graphics drivers but whenever I try to use the drivers from the nvidia site, it tells me it doesn't apply to my computer. Also when I go to mobile downloads from their website, they don't have the 8600M GT card as an option to download drivers for...
