Is there anyplace or anyone that could should me a clean install guide? I dont feel like experimenting myself nor do I feel competent enough to do that.

A clean install guide like this: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=120228

I just downloaded Windows 7 online and have a product key already so I can do a OS install with activation. I was just wondering if all I have to do is just burn Windows 7 on to a cd and install like normal.

Yup you got it. Windows 7 is VERY easy to install.. just like a program, especially when you already have a previous Windows to install. Just select "Custom install" instead of "upgrade" when you will be asked.
MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP YOUR STUFF BEFORE BECAUSE THEY WILL BE GONE, unless you do (and can) an upgrade that is.

That Vista one, while well-written, looks way, way, way too busy.

Clean installing Windows is a "insert disc, boot follow prompts" affair. It's not exactly rocket surgery.

The only thing you might need similar to the guide linked in the OP is the program that backs up OEM activation for a reinstall (the program in that guide still works for win7)

Otherwise, just follow the prompts after booting the disc (make sure you backup data)
