I'm reformating my XP drive soon. I always go on a install and testing everything rampage before I reformat. Just letting you guys know the reason of why I would ever install a AOL product. LOL
Open Ride is complete Cluter. Maybe it would be more useful of a Very Large screen. I tried it on a 21 flatscreen monitor. The button/knob that is used to move/resize the four screen is NOT smooth at all. Its more of struggle to use. And did I mention the Cluter!!! I didn't even try to config it .....the cluter and the dreadful resize knob turned me off too quickly.
On a better note.....
The AOL Explorer 1.5 is very smooth, and easy to use. It's probally the only AOL software I will think of keeping, being that it's bloat free of the usual aol Spyware and muti processes crap. << As far as I can tell from checking my own PC. Didn't check thoroughly so I might be mistaken.
I really like the side tabs. This is what AOL Explorer should have been in the begining. It also VERY QUICK, no stalling at all when messing with any type of settings. The Power Browsing feature is nice too, but not necessary.
AOL Explorer 1.5 is a Nice browser, but ofcourse no replacement for FireFox or IE7. AOL Explorer does pull up pages a bit slower, as do all AOL software. But for an Alternate browser for non frequent use, it shouldn't be a problem.
