This has been happening a while and its very annoying,
whenever i tap (on the touchpad) one of the several tabs open on the googlechrome browser it sometimes closes down that tab, the curser is never near the cross that closes the tab

this is very annoying, while i have a googlechrome extension that lets me reopen recently closed tabs, its still very annoying having to reopen,

and theres no reason for it to close the tab but simply tapping the touchpad around the centre

does anyone know why this could be happening> and how it would be resolved?

    thanks

Do you have any custom settings in the software that controls the touchpad that may cause this? You could also try reinstalling, or removing said software; or resetting all defaults to the present installation. ( I assume you need the TP or I would just say disable it).
