Hi all, I've tried contacting support and checking on the internet for a fix but can't seem to find anything.

I recently received my G750JM and I was in the process of removing bloatware until I realized that I had accidentally removed the software that allowed me to use the Fn keys (to adjust keyboard lights, etc). Since I hadn't actually done much on the computer yet I decided that resetting it to factory defaults would be easier than trying to find a fix online. I had already done a factory reset on a G750JS that I returned earlier due to a defective keyboard which went off without any problems.

This time however when the computer restarted during/after the factory reset I was greeted with the following error message:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Recovery

Your PC needs to be repaired.

The Boot Configuration Data file is missing some required information.

    File: \BCD
    Error Code: 0xc0000034

You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wanted to know if anyone's had something similar happen to them and if they knew of a fix.

Also, I've managed to install an SSD on the device with a separate working Windows 8.1 OS and I am able to access the original HDD with all the files. Would it be possible to simply replace the Boot file that is missing by accessing the HDD OS through the SSD OS?

Any help you guys could provide me with would be greatly appreciated!

    P.S.

When I initially installed the SSD I tried cloning the HDD. Could this have caused the problem that I am now experiencing?
