    Hello,
Well I'm pretty certain is hardware failure and most likely the turbo memory, but right now im stuck. Currently my OS is corrupted nothing will work this time it gives me the standard 000000000f error code saying my registry is missing... Usually I get different error codes and it still wont boot*. Normally I go to a friends and use an actually Vista dvd to repair the registry *Thanks asus for not including any sort of repair.....* Now it just refuses to boot any form of dvd. It will only boot cd's. Im currently typing on a live linux cd  grrr. My question is can I dump vista onto a usb drive and get it to boot so i can repair it. I need to get back into my vista os so i can de register some keys for a few program or its gona be chaos.. like tech support on hold ftl :(

*Ive had this happen about 8 times, UPDATES DO NOT MATTER. Ive come to the conclusion its the hardware it self. Anyways screen goes black 5-6 sec later it resets will do this about 5 times before vista corrupts it self. Its random when it will happen also. Each situation was different one time it was guild wars, another time was a calculator program :D, other time was windows media player, and another one was Firefox.

Also would I be able to take the hdd out and pop it in another computer using the vista dvd to repair it? The only problem Im having with that is will it change all the registry settings in it to ONLY work for the comp that i used to repair it?

Personally I would Like to downgrade to XP if i can find gfx, sound, and touch pad drivers, because vista isn't ready for public use yet *SP1 didn't didnt barely fixed enough stuff, even with sp1 it still sux >: (*.... Released wayyy to early and now the end user has to pay the consequences.
