Is ATTO drive benchmark tool accurate?
I'm getting over 900MB/s read speed on my usb flashdrive.![]()

Clearly it's not accurate since USB maxes out at 60MB/s in theory.

The USB bandwidth maxes out at 60MB/s but it doesn't mean usb flash drives cannot transfer above 60MB/s in windows. There are tools/drivers for windows which "delay" the write and fools some programs. Since the delayed write data goes in to the ram, 900MB/s flashdrive "throughput" is possible for small files. E.g. 10MB files goes in the flash drive instantly and accessible after 1 second.
In vista ultimate, the transfer speed of 100MB file averages around 100MB/s, way above the maximum USB bandwidth. The whole process take 1 second to initialize and 1 second to finish and 1 second to close the transfer dialogue. -
