    I have a bunch of videoes in AVI. What would be the best free software to convert to MP4 for putting on iPod and how would I do this? Thanks.

    Videora was good with the earlier versions.... but now it's so screwed up... it pretty much works like a webpage and online only!

    VLC provides the best sound/pic quality. And for some reason, the Videora vids that I converted cause problems on my ipod touch, such as the video will freeze at random spots. The worst problem I've seen was one part video rebooted my ipod!
