    Hey guys!
I'm considering buying a laptop very soon, the only problem is that I live in Japan and all Dell laptops here are preinstalled with Japanese Vista.

What i'm wonding, is it possible to purchase a laptop with Japanese Vista, download English Vista from the Net, Reinstall English vista and use my original Japanese Vista CDkey to activate my Windows?

    thanks!

If it's the same particular version of Vista (OEM copy of 32-bit Home Premium is what I would assume you have) but in English, I believe that will work. Only one way to find out for sure... :D
