I just installed the Windows 7 beta onto my computer on a separate partition from my Vista install. However, I can't access anything on my Vista partition, and I'd like to be able to access some documents across partitions... can anyone tell me how to do this?

Windows 7 doesn't see the Vista partition. You have to mount the volume. There's at least one thread in this board that explains the process.

Go to disk managment and assign a drive letter to the vista partition. You should be able to see it then.

Type "Computer Management" into the start menu and open it. Go to "Disk Management", right click your Vista partition, and click "Change drive letter and paths".

    Done.

I've searched for one, but ever since the site changed interface, the search feature has been completely useless for me.

    Thanks much, that worked :).

You can change it back if you like. Down on the lower-left part of the screen there's a list box that lets you choose from four different styles - choose Old NBR Style. It's right above the Copyright, so a Web browser site of an NBR page for "Copyright" will take you right below where you need to be.

I've changed it back myself - not a big fan of the new one, and neither is my web browser.
