Been using this program for years, and now for some reason when I open it and am setting it up to create a backup image for one of my drives, it randomly freezes. Like stopped responding. And if I can run through everything super fast and set it to start backing up, it will be fine, but if I delay even a little, withing 1 min it freezes. No idea what is causing it, and I don't want to do a fresh install because I have a lot of stuff installed. This is on my Alienware M17x R2. So I have three different drives on it. None in RAID. One is a storage (1TB), One SSD is an OS/Apps drive, and the other SSD is all games.

Anyone have ideas as to why this may be occurring? The random freezing/crashing?

I had a similar issue with my desktop a while back. Turns out it was some sort of issue with link power management for SATA devices. Try the registry fix listed here and disable hard drive sleep. Worked for me.
