    Hello,

I have NoteBook Hardware Control 2.0 Pre-release 06 bugfix version (for Dell E1505 laptop) installed, and I noticed that under the ACPI tab it says "ACPI Control System is not yet configurated for this system." How do I check if ACPI is working correctly on my laptop? If it's working correctly then why does it show that message on NHC?

Say about what? ACPI? I looked under System Devices and the first 4 are: ACPI Lid, ACPI Power Button, ACPI Sleep Button, and ACPI Thermal Zone. I double-clicked on all 4 and for each one it says "This device is working properly.", so does that mean there is nothing wrong with ACPI on my laptop?

ACPI in NHC needs to know which controls to call, if you no-one has programmed the right ACPI commands to do the various tasks, then it won't exist.

It's NOT a problem with your computer, just to do with what NHC can (or can't) control.
