    Hey,

I was thinking about getting this program and was wondering about a couple of things:

Can I specify what folders to exclude in the creation of an image of my hard drive? For example, can I tell it exclude my users/music directory?

Would I be able to load up that image file and selectively restore certain files from it?

It depends...you can certainly do it during normal back ups--not sure if you can exclude files or folders during disk images.

restoring can be done in several ways, but yes, you can selectively restore things--specifically, if you make a drive image, you can mount the drive and just copy the files you want. I don't know if you can restore an entire disk image and opt out of certain files, though...

you can download the user manual from their site

Maybe a better alternative would be to have a separate partition for the Music and other data, alternatively you could just move it there briefly while you make the image.

It's very easy, you can specifiy which folders to include or exclude in the backup imagre ratehr than just backing up the entire partition dude.
