Does removing any programs do any harm to my computer? Or are they just extras that i can remove. For example, i'm not sure if i should delete all this VAIO stuff off my desktop computer.

    VAIO Control Center
    VAIO Entertainment Platform
    VAIO Help and Support
    etc.

Provided is a screenshot of the list of my programs.

The only harm removing a program can do is if you want or need the program.

It's just that i don't know what some of these things do so i'm not sure if i should remove the program or not? Bringing up the VAIO again, in the screenshot, there is like 15 VAIO things and i'm wondering if i can just remove those?
