The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

in add/remove when I click on an app such as Firefox it says used occasionally, 3 weeks ago, but I use it every day. Why's this?

IIRC each individual application is supposed to update this statistic in a registry key somewhere, but most don't bother. Windows then searches the start menu for a shortcut with the same name as the uninstall entry and uses the date that was last run/edited or something weird like that.

Sounds reasonable. It seems like some are the install date.
