Not sure if this is the right forum

I wanted to add the ñ key to my US keyboard, I do a lot of documents in spanish and I dont really want to be changing the keyboard language all the time.

So... I want to customize a key I dont use on my keyboard to a ñ without changing my keyboard language, is it possible?

I think it is possible. Search for keyboard remapping software.

One thing that my coworkers do that speak other languages is put a post it note on their monitor with the alt+#### for the accents. cheaper and less of a hassle then trying to find a key mapping program.

I generally use Danish keyboard layout, so can't say for sure, but a friend of mine tends to use US International keyboard layout instead of "regular" US. Apparently that enables most accents and such.

Are you typing the numbers via the numeric key pad (not the numbers on the top row of the regular keyboard)? If not this does not work. If your keyboard does not have a separate numeric keypad you need to click the numlock key and then use the numeric keypad superimposed on the alpha keys. Look closely at your MJKLUIOP789 keys you will see numbers there. That becomes the numeric keypad when the numlock key is on.
