    Hi.

I'm looking for something like the Asus Splendid utility on their laptops. Just had a play around and it seems you can change the colour temperature of the screen with a click, from cool to warm etc.

Is there any way I can get it for my Acer? Currently a 5920G running Vista.

Or can I get something similar?

I watch quite a few Blu-ray's on my laptop and they don't look as good with the colour being all cool (blue'ish). I use VLC most of the time and it would be nice if I can get those warm theatre colour settings to enchance the video.

    Thanks!

You should be able to change it within the controls of 'Graphics Properties'. I can change Brightness, Contrast and Gamma for each of the RGB channels on my i7. I'm sure nVidia has similar controls in their drivers.

F.lux seems to be what you're looking for. I've used it in Vista, simple and works well.

I love flux. Such a lovely program, but it often messes up my brain when I shut it off to play games and everything looks blue for about 10 minutes :p

Tried installing the Asus utility but it comes up with an error saying it's for Asus hardware etc only.

Think I'll just have to stick with the cooler colours.

    Thanks anyway.
