A friend of mine has a HP laptop. I don't know the model. She is running XP.
She is taking a college course that requires an updated version of Flash Player. I was trying to help her over the phone.
We tried to install 9.0.115 and 9.0.224. Went to the Adobe site, they suggested uninstalling older version before installing newer version. Did that.
Nothing worked. Always got "failed to install".
I know this is not much info, but does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Herman

Use CCleaner to remove leftover or temp files.
Then try again, and pay attention if an error pops up,there might be some required updates from MicroSoft.
