CS2 and CS4 run fine for me? What do you mean that it will not open up?

    Heya,

Nope, I haven't been able to get a copy of x64 version of Photoshop to work on my 7's x64, but I was able to get x32 version of it working. I think it's just some tiny little bug I haven't figured out.

If ya do hear anything, tho. Lemme know since a friend needs Photoshop for school, and he was thinking of trying 7 when it came out, but that's the only thing that's holding them back as of this moment.

Other than that, I rather use gimp, anyways. =P Less complicated, less expensive, and free.

    Tootles,
    Ali

Works great for me. Photoshop CS4 x64 running in Win7 x64 build 7057 and 7000. No issues or incompatibilities of any sort. Have you checked your event log for signs of what is causing the crash? You might also try updating to the latest build, 7057. There were a few apps that wouldn't run in 7000 that would in 7057.

I have been able to run Photoshop CS 4 on Windows 7 64bit with little problems... except one. If I try and use the twirl filter Photoshop emmediatly crashes.. no preview window or anything, as soon as I click "twirl" it's gone... and so is all the work I've done since the last save.
