My wife purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 3 at the university she works at. It is the Education version. I am usually very careful and meticulous when buying something, but failed to recognize it wasn't APE 4, and was only good for Windows XP, not Vista, which is coming on our new computer hopefully next week. Thankfully I found the 3.0.2 update that allows me to use it on Vista.

I was researching all night but couldn't find an answer. Is there an easy (cheap) way to upgrade to 4 with the Education license?

I would have returned it, but I had already opened up the package. And to add insult to injury, I could find 4 for only a few bucks more elsewhere. :)
