    Adobe Reader association problem?

    So basically, i was trying to be an idiot and try to get a portable version of adobe reader 9. As a result, the pdf files werent' asssociated with the portable version, so I had to manually go to "open with" and set the file associations.

    So instead of the icon for adobe reader in windows explorer looking like this: ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

    they are looking like this: ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

    I know its a minor problem but its bugging me, how do i change it to the first one?

    I already tried reinstalling adobe reader, but no luck

    Ehm... that's how Adobe pdf files are supposed to look unless you are getting a preview (in which case you'll see the contents of the first page)

    Your first link is the Adobe Acrobat icon - not the file icon.

    ok maybe just don't look at the first one but the second link is definitely how your file icon is supposed to look like, how do i get my icon to look like the normal one?

    The second link is the normal icon for pdf files.

    I'm not sure if I am missing something, but all seems to be fine as far as I can tell.
