Just use CCleaner or Regcleaner, both are free. Any type of registry "optimization" is basically just cleaning it out like CCleaner and Regcleaner both do, that's about as far as optimization can go for the registry.

JKDefrag also has a registry cleaner/optimizer.

    +1 for CCleaner.
Registry cleaners can be helpful but if you use the wrong one you can wreck more than you would like.
Also, if you have 100000 entries in your registry, don't expect miracles if you clean out 10 obsolete entries.
I'd stick with the renowned ones USApatriot has mentioned.
    Cheers.

    Hi,

I would be careful using registry cleaners. All these sort of programs say "they can boost, optimize your computer" truthfully speaking in my opinion all they do is ruin the computer instead.

I only recommend using them if you fully understand the registry as you could remove a vital registry key. Removing vital registry keys could lead to having to do a clean install, errors etc.

    Use with caution!

    . +2 for cCleaner
. not so "aggressive" like any others that claim registry optimisation
. but should you want to try any registry tools: backup your current one first!

    cheers ...
