Never heard of it. Probably just defragments your hard drive/ registry and does registry cleaning. I can't see how it would improve internet speeds by 400%

woah, I just did a scan with it and it found a trojan within 1 minute at C:instal.exe

Could it be lying? Or should I clear it? My other anti viruses like MSE and malware bytes havent found anything last time I scanned

I don't think it would lie. More likely it's a false positive. Or it could be legit.

Advanced SystemCare Free - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

Is the file you downloaded or installed the same size as the one here?

If so it is probably OK, but I would not recommend having multiple Malware detectors running at the same time.
I would stick with the usual stuff recommended here - MSE, Malwarebytes, etc.
An example of a false positive is as follows - I have a program that I know is not malware installed called stressrelief.exe and everytime I scan with MB it flags it as malware. .

BTW I found this on another site, instal.exe - instal, soft6 worm, Virus Notice!
but I am not sure if the site I just mentioned is legit.

Have you installed and windows updates lately, the file could relate to a recent update to Visual C++.

Right click on the file and go to properties, does it say microsoft corporation?

:nah: No. The name alone is sufficient for that judgment.

You don't need any of that stuff.

I tend to agree. Basically I just use CCleaner to pick up some registry inconsistency, for the rest of the parts I manually do the cleaning by going to the known messed up folders & registry keys and deleting the stuff that I don't need.
Try to pick binaries over installers whenever possible.

I only clean the registry after a virus or if I'm trying to install a trial program for a second time. Otherwise, no need.

I use CCleaner to uninstall programs because I prefer the interface. I also use it to clean out temp files etc after a while. It mostly just facilitates things taht I could do manually.

Advance system care is a really good software, reviewed 4/5 star out of 5, just search in the net for reviews.
I used to run it on my old laptop with Win XP, and it did help me a lot with the general optimization.
Right now, I prefer Tune up utilities thus. I found it much better.
