    Advantages/Disadvantages VIsta 64-bit?

    Im getting a 64-bit OS. What are the Advantages/Disadvantages?

    Things i already know...

    Allows 4GB
    SOme things arent compatable (Printers)

    But what about software... like drivers for a racing wheel or games like The Sims or COD 4/Crysis? Thanks

    meh... i have 64bit ultimate.... the only problem is that i have to find signed drivers for rivia tuner cause vista 64 must use signed drivers......

    All of the drivers that u will need have to be signed by microsoft. This is a major downside to the x64 platform because microsoft doesnt sign many drivers.

    I heard it can be disabled....search google for that.

    It can be disabled at startup and the driver doesn't need to be signed by microsoft.

    It will only refuse to install if the manufacturer doesn't have a signing liscence, for the rest, a popup will appear telling it is not signed but will install anyway like usual. For exemple, nvidia's beta drivers aren't WHQL (microsoft's signature) but they install anyway

    I think the 2 lastest version of rivatuner are signed.
