    I Have Just Purchased An Advent 9112 Laptop, This Comes With A Built In Webcam, But No Matter What Progam I Use They Do Not Detect It.
    I Cannot Find Anywhere On The Computer, In Conrol Panel Etc That Even Mentions The Webcam.

    Can Anybody Please Help

    Hi if you bought this machine from PC World you will find a slip of paper with it telling you that to use the webcam you need to use 3rd party software, e.g. MSN live messenger.

    Use Fn+ F10 keys (marked with a camera) to turn the webcam on and off when on the camera will be lit with a green led. this info and more is on the techguys website under Product Guides Computers Notebooks Advent 9xxx range Advent 9112 Case & Ports.
