    Aero Glass is gone?

    Hi, I did a clean install of vista on my laptop and I am using Home Premium
    I remember having the Aero Glass after i did the Windows Experience tool, and the score is 3.4 right now. I dont see the Aero Glass thing anymore, when i go to right click on desktop, Personalize, Windows Color and Appearance, i only see
    Windows Vista Basic, Stanard, Classic, High Contrast white, black , #1, and #2,
    im using a dv6500t can anyone help plz :p i was just wondering, i just noticed it at first dunno how long it has been tho

    and i think i remember it saying that the appear changed to Vista Basic or something? iono how can i get it back :/

    vista reverts to vista basic when a program conflicts with vista aero... its probably because youve got a program in the background that is running that is conflicting, thus changing the theme to basic.

    Try experimenting to see if you can find out which program it is...

    make sure you don't run programs in XP compatibility mode if you want Aero.

    thx for the quick replies :) i think it was a program, it scared me for a little, i turned off some programs for startup and then restarted and it came back :)
    thx again, now i learned something new :)
