This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     After Reinstalling WinXP MCE on e1705 nothing but problems

    The first issue was my BT 355 couldn't initialize, so after i fixed that it took me 2 tries to validate windows, and now Windows Defender won't update and it tells me "Windows Defender was unable to complete the update: 0x8024001d, Could not right to specified device" and i can't use the windows update site. Help please

    its my dell disc, and i've done this twice before w/ no problems.
