    Hey all,

I need help with this problem of having a phantom Removable Disk drive found when I open My Computer. It doesn't have any storage capabilities and it's just there. I can safely remove it no problem but it shows up every time I reboot. It's just like emulating a cd drive using daemon tools in the way that it's just there.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Sorry, I forgot to mention I'm on vista

right click the device, choose properties, go to hardware, looking here, do you see it listed? select the device in the list and choose DRIVERS and DETAILS

    What do you see there.

Kind feel blind here with so little information so you need to supply more
