Let me give a bit of background information. I really like this pc, it has 2 GB of graphics memory, it came with 4 GB of DDR3 memory, but I upgraded it to 16 GB of RAM. It has a Intel i7 processor. It has a HM67 cougarpoint chipset. Anyway, I had Windows 7 Home Premium installed on this pc, I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate and then to Windows 8.1 (big mistake). When I had first got the pc, I wiped the recovery partition off of the HDD, which wasn't to smart, and did a clean stall of Windows. I 're-downloaded alienware respawn and it restored the recovery partition by making a image of my current HDD config, and I was wondering if I took it back to factory would it restore my pc back to the out of box factory state or just my current HDD config, well I found out it was just my current HDD config. Well, after doing a respawn, I used my pc fine for a while. I upgraded it to Windows 7 Ultimate and then Windows 8. I was having driver issues with Windows 8.1 so I decided to wiped the HDD again and do a full reinstall of Home Premium on my PC. I did, and when I do a clean install the first thing I've always done is to install all the drivers, programs and settings I usually use, and then do all the Windows updates. This time, when I did the fresh install, I am getting BSOD of IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I downloaded blue screen view, and it's saying that it was caused by drivee ntoskrnl.exe. That's a kernel file. What am I supposed to do ? Please help me.

You will get a better response by requesting this thread to be moved to the Alienware forums.
But, back to the question at hand: Try doing the clean install again. The ntoskrnl.exe file could have become corrupt when it was copied over from the Windows installation media. One thing I always recommend (and this goes for you too if you have the resources available), take your Alienware Windows CD/DVD...assuming that's what you're using to do this install...and create a bootable Windows USB installation drive with it. It requires a USB flash drive and another functional Windows system. You just download the tool from microsoft's website and run it. That way all your install data is written to a USB drive and that is less likely to have issues when you install from it. -

How many times have you gotten the BSOD and how long has it been since this clean install? Have you run memtest86+ or the built-in windows memory test utility?

I did a reinstall of Windows again using a different Windows disk, and it fixed the issue. It was weird, it wasn't until installed updates after the install that I had the BSOD. I have no clue exactly as to why it happened. So far though, there has been no BSOD issues.
