    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me, ive done a bit of a blonde thing and now all .exe and .ink files will try and open themselves in internet explorer. Ive heard that you can change file associations in command prompt using 'assoc.exe=exefile', however I cant actually open command prompt as that too tries to open in internet explorer. Can someone please help? :S

    Thanks in advance :)

It's .LNK, as in a link. It's an extension that Windows uses for shortcuts to a program. Not ink.
