Edit: Typo ...I meant "Start Menu" in the title of this thread.

I was working on a project in Windows Live Movie Maker and realized I needed to crop my picture, so I clicked "start" and to my surprise, the "All Programs" section is all white.

Since then, I've searched about 10 different forums and most mentioned to go to properties and restore them to default, which I did, but no luck.

Any ideas without having to do a restore?

A few posts mentioned something about the notorious "70 entries", which bugs out W7 - Could it be this?

I've scanned with Malwarebytes and Avira and it's caught nothing too in-case anyone suggests it.

I'm just not sure what to do from here on...

    Thanks

    Actually, it's back now ...

I'm pretty sure I know what it was. I googled "tropical beach pic", went into the images section and saved a .jpg I liked to use in WMM.

I just deleted that particular picture and now my problem is fixed.

I'm baffled that NoScript, Adblock, Avira Internet Security and Malwarebytes didn't block it or pick up the infected file.
