Hello everyone. Since I got a new 20" LCD panel and an external keyboard for my laptop, i've been a bit concerned for the temperature. I have Riva Tuner and NHC to monitor the GPU and CPU, however a clutter happens in the notification area.
I searched around this forum and found CPUID, but the problem i have with that is that a program needs to be running and it wont close onto the notification area of the screen.

I'm looking for a program that monitors everything and will stay on the notification area when it is closed so that all I have to do is mouse over there to see the temperatures.

    Any help will be appreciated!

according to the pic, it doesn't show an option for GPU.

Mine's Integrated - GMA 950 (No thermal sensor, I guess)

[You can contact Lavalys and verify before buying (if buying).]

If you have some Core 2 Duo CPU and Smart hard drive, you can just get the plugins for RivaTuner. Only thing missing would be the mobo but if you have a recent computer, maybe there's a plugin for that. I just recommend RivaTuner since it always shows FPS and have a OSD (on-screen display), which is great when gaming or running fullscreen apps). If not, Everest is the most complete monitor applications, also with on-screen display and it does show the GPU, maybe not it the pic, but I used it for a while and the GPU was listed. But I had a little glitch with the GPU temp when it was on beta, don't know if its fixed...you should give it a try.
