I don't know if this is Vista feature or it is hardware related feature.
My friend's laptop suddenly displays everything in horizontal angle(90 degrees) instead of vertical as normal. It is Vista OS.
I am not familar with Vista at all and not familar with laptop either. How to turn it back to normal?
Thx

I'm not sure if vista has the option to rotate the display built-in, but it's usually an option in the video card driver's settings. Check the forceware or catalyst or whatever video card you have settings.

Almost positive it's a hardware related feature. I've known that some video cards have this option to turn the screen. I had an hp i was using for a while and it was possible to turn the display. I don't remember the shortcuts but it was like [arrow keys] + [Ctrl and/or Shift and/or Alt]. Go ahead and look at driver settings under the display properties first to see if you can make changes that way.

Sounds like somebody's idea of a practical joke.
All windows display in horizontal format(90 degrees)?
