Has anyone experienced this: The window switcher (Alt-Tab) automatically pops up every now and then, but only if my mouse is connected.
    What can cause this?

I have checked, no viruses or spyware on the notebook.
The curious thing is that it only happens with my current mouse, my old one works perfectly.

Have you reviewed the software/driver for your mouse? Many drivers include options for the various buttons on the mouse. The scroll wheel button on many Microsoft Mice has a default setting for Windows Flip aka ALT+TAB. You could be accidentally bumping the button for Windows Flip, as configured in your mouse driver.

Ok, tried the middle button of the mouse is causing this. I've set it to minimize and now the windows minimize randomly...
It seems that the microcontroler for the middle button in the mouse is toast.
