The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Not sure what kind of Vista you have a retail or OEM version. From what I understand you can only buy the media from Microsoft using a retail key, not an OEM one :(

    Edit - Yes, if you manage to get the media from MS or another source, you can use this disc to do a clean install.

    You can perform a clean install with it. But I don't know about the price.

    only works for retail keys. The disc is free but they charge about $10 shipping.
