Alternative to clipping tool that works just with keyboard shortcut?

I've been trying some screenshot programs.

snipping tool is alright except it requires me to first click on the program and open it to use. I just want a keyboard shorcut to start creating the rectangular space.

I tried another one that makes it so when you hit print screen it automatically asks you to crop a rectangle out. That was alright but annoying because it forced me to select an area everytime. I want printscreen to work normally and a keyboard shortcut to automatically go into cropping out a rectangle shape.

What are some screenshot programs you've tried and do any match what I am looking for?

I don't mean achrome extension I mean a tool that works everywhere.

Why not just Add a keyboard shortcut in the Snipping tool preferences?

I have. And I do use it.

But once it opens you still have to click the "new snip" box every time. I just want one keyboard button that automatically goes to rectangular snipping.

Maybe I don't understand correctly? I have a keyboard shortcut to open the snipping program but I don't know have a shortcut to automatically go to rectangular cropping mode.

Is there a way to do this?

Learn to code and write your own tool, if your needs are that specific/lazy.
