Ok...I don't know whats wrong but this is starting to piss me off

When I boot my computer sometimes one of the two applications won't show up. They show up in the Processes but just won't show up on the screen. And whats even better is that you can't end the process either. So I have to reboot my computer several times until out of luck I get a time that both applications work. Anyone know how to fix this?

When a PC is booted, only the programs in the Startup group run. Firefox and Thunderbird are not normally in the Startup group. If you are starting them yourself, and waiting until the PC has fully booted up before starting them, and they are not starting up then, the problem is probably related to a resource constraint on the PC or a corrupted install of the software.

Yes. If memory, CPU, disk, or the swapfile are a bottleneck, applications may not start up in a timely manner.
