I upgraded my US Vista to a Chinese version of Windows 7 Home Premium, and had the language changed to English via Vistalizator. But it left me with some interface font problems.

With certain applications, the font that's usually (Tahoma?) in Vista is changed to the font as shown on the left. The language bar seems to have an apparent font change too.

Certain websites seem to display this font too, mainly in text boxes and buttons.

I tried to change everything in FontSubstitutes registry entry to SegoeUI, didn't help. Any ways around this? Thanks!

Here's the FontSubstitutes entry before and after my edits if it helps
    Code:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes]
    "Arabic Transparent"="Arial"

Try changing the fonts from the Advanced Appearance Box.

Personalize > Window Color > Advanced appearance settings... > Window Color and Appearance

Although you'd think going directly into the registry would fix it

Could you let me know which option I have to change? Cause most interfaces display what I'd think is the proper fonts. Except for just a few applications that seem to rely on some default font.

EDIT: to add, all the fonts within "Window Color and Appearance" is SegoeUI.
