wmpnscfg.exe - Windows Media Player Sharing Service Configuration Application

This process starts when the PC starts, and I want it disabled. It's not in msconfig's startup and I even disabled the service; yet it still runs.
Does anyone know how to completely disable this?

i did a simple google search and found this:

    > To exit that app, run (Note that "/Close" is case sensitive):
    > "\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpnscfg.exe" /Close
    >
    > To make it not run again, open the registry key

Lol, I came across that to, but I thought someone here on the forums would know how to do it without touching the registry. I'll wait for a few more responses before I do that.

I'm pretty sure this works, I stumbled across it trying to get rid of this same process. Open up your WMP, click on the drop-down arrow under the Library button, click on "Media Sharing" and uncheck both options.
