    Annyoing feature: maximizing turns of when dragging the top of the window

    There's a blue space at the top of every windows, left to the minimize/maximize/exit buttons. IF you select it and move the mouse the whole window shrinks and moves. I would really like to turn it if if possible. As long as I remember Vista didn't have this.

    It's really annoying in chrome, since tabs are at very top and you often miss that New tab button.

    Sounds like you're using the Aero snap to pin the window maximized to the top of the screen. Moving the title bar will un-snap it and the window can be moved around.

    You have two solutions: One is to resize the window to full-size manually by dragging the borders as far as they will go in all directions. The other is to simply not move the title bar.

    My solutions allow Aero Snap to remain in place while resolving the specific issue the OP is having.
