For those who didn't know, if you work in retail at a place that sells Windows 7(Best Buy, Staples etc.), you're qualified to receive Windows 7(I think it was Ultimate but I'll have to confirm) as a representative of Microsoft.

    Just go to this site:
    http://expertzone.microsoft.com

Get an account(where they ask where you work and all that), follow their online classes and take the tests(which are really really easy and biased towards Windows lol :p) and you'll be eligible to receive your Windows 7 version. Of course there's a catch: you pay shipping.

I'm already on wait to receive my version and considering it's from Microsoft, I'm pretty sure it's legit(that and the fact that I got a paper form my work telling em it XD)

Just wanted to enlighten people who might not have known this as I just learned of it recently :D

The site only seems to work in IE, too

Someone I work with at Staples told me about it, I just haven't been able to do enough of the tests to even see the Ultimate version.

The only "validation" I saw is that they ask which store you work at as well as your employee number. Idk if they actually check it though. Really, the main thing is taking the time to do all those boring "classes" on Windows 7 lol :p

Really, it seems to be an easy way to get a free Windows lol :p

It says something about having to be an employee in their EULA so theoretically, you need to be. I'm not sure how or if they check. I've had no problems creating an account or anything.

The issue came after I ordered Windows 7 which said my order couldn't be processed yet when I check my order history, it's there and saying "processing"... typical MS :p

Alright, we've seen a bit too much information on this thread about getting copies of Windows 7.

Seriously, if you want the OS...pay for it like everyone else has to. If you have rights to MSDNAA or EPP copies or whatever, good for you. But don't go trying to take advantage of programs for which you have no right to access.
