    Another problem / right click

    Out of nowhere.....I was about to go to bed today and I realized that whenever I right click on any files....it locks up without fail. It also locks up if I right-click a quick launch item...

    It doesn't lock up if I right-click My Computer, though....?

    Please tell me why this is happening...it's frustrating me.

    This sounds like you've installed a program lately that has added an invalid option to the right click menu. Maybe an older program that you've installed lately?

    The only way to fix this will be to download a program like ShellExView and start disabling context menus until you find the culprit.

    It's a tedious process. Be sure to read the included help file.

    And qhn....I tried system restore, but it said that it was not able to restore to this point for any point I choose.

    EDIT; Wow.....thank you deputy. The program worked like a charm and I found the exact shell extension that was causing the problems.
