Hey guys, what anti virus and anti spyware are you guys using for Windows 7? Right now my copy of MCafee security center is not compatible (what a off). So I'm willing to use something free until they fix the issue.

McAfee hav a free beta version that works. I ran it in the beta of win7 (build 7000) but now my version of McAfee (supplied free by BT internet) works fine with the RC. Other than that I had no problems with Avast or AVG.

NIS 2009 had a compatibility issue with Win7.

Something to do with the Heuristic Driver.

After I installed that MCafee beta, I got a blue screen of death at the start of Windows 7. I don't know if its directly because of that or because of windows update that might have installed software for my turbo memory as it seemed to do that in Vista as well.

installed comodo internet security. annoying program sometimes, but it's a lightweight firewall and antivirus in one. Plus if you're an expert, you'll see that it's a powerful tool once configured properly. just make sure you install it as administrator, or else it won't work.

Avira works for me. But when I open Avira, the drop down "Overview" menu in the left of the UI seems to be stuttering when it expands. I am running Win 7 RC X64.

Got the same message about the Heuristic Driver. I downoaded the pre-release version of NIS 2009 from Symantec. No problems except the pre release trial license is only for 14 days.
